Whats the difference between strep throat & tonsillitis? I can't find a site that can explain the difference.? - strep throat vs strep pneumoniae
All sites, the titles are "sore throat" Show me the two have the same symptoms, I would like to know the difference between the two totals.

If I mistake not, May be called tonsillitis sore throat, but only if it is caused by group A streptococcus (bacterium called Streptococcus pyogenes). Tonsillitis can be caused by viruses, but is best described as a sore throat only when caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. I hope this helped.
